‘Licence To Offend’ Our now infamous ‘cancelled’ political cartoon show (see News for details) has found a new venue at Colony Room Green a recreation of the legendary Colony Room Club, the favoured drinking den of Francis Bacon, Lucien Freud and later, the YBA’s.
Curated by artist and author, Darren Coffield, the bar still attracts artists, rebels and eccentrics making it ideal to host a controversial exhibition that celebrates the work of some of the country’s most esteemed cartoonists of all political persuasions who, between them, have worked for every publication worth mentioning.
